NEITASI LODGE
Neitasi lodge is situated at the north west end of Tegano Lake, East Rennell. Land transport will take you from Tigoa airfield West Rennell right to Neitasi lodge, unlike other accomodations in Tegano where you have to take a 10 -30 minutes boat ride.
Neitasi can accomodate 4 guests at one time, so advance booking is essential.
Modern cooking and toilet facilities are available for your convenience.
Water for cooking, drinking and cold shower is supplied through rain water tanks.
Neitasi lodge is just at the edge of Tevaitahe village so why not take a walk to the village and experience the simple yet more fulfiling life style.
At the magalanu shallow waters between Neitasi and Kiakoe lodge lie two WWll bombers that you might interest to explore.
KIAKOE lodge
Across Magalanu from Neitasi lodge, located Kiakoe lodge. KiaKoe lodge has been taking in guests since mid 90s and still today.
After arriving at the head road, where land transport terminates from Tigoa airfield West Rennell, a short boat ride will take you to the lodge.
There are 10 rooms currently available and can easily accomodates up to 20 guests at one time. Bookings are advisable, especially for large groups.
The only link to and from KiaKoe lodge is by boat powered by outboat motor. For the more adventurous visitors, dugout canoes are also available at request should you want to use it to move around the Taimate West Lake or as the new west lakers want to reffer to a West "L".
