East Rennell is with a population of about six hundred people living in four villages nested along the coastline of Lake Tegano.

East Rennell has been enlisted World Heritage Natural Site in 1998, becoming part of the 911 World Heritage listed properties.

The primary purpose of 'tegano-lake.com' is to showcase Lake Tegano, and its natural heritage, and with the utmost hope that Tegano people take pride and appreciate the value of the place we call Home. This website seeks to address challenges and issues facing Lake Tegano, East Rennell, as a People and as an Asset.
